Doha: Commercial Bank participated for the first time in Qatar Foundation’s ‘Little Employee’ initiative, welcoming the children of its staff members to Commercial Bank Plaza for a day filled with learning, exploration, and inspiration.

The programme invited around 100 children from across departments to experience a day in their parents’ workplace.

The immersive schedule included guided tours, interactive workshops, and simple, age-friendly tasks, offering children the chance to observe daily work routines, learn about digital innovation, and build an appreciation for the values of teamwork, integrity, and service that underpin the Bank’s success.

The ‘Commercial Bank Little Employee’ programme aims to nurture curiosity, build confidence, and inspire future generations to imagine their place within Qatar’s evolving economy, in alignment with the human development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030. By bridging family and professional life, the initiative highlights how empowering youth and engaging families directly contributes to stronger institutions and more resilient communities.

Khalifa Al Rayes, EGM and Chief Human Capital Officer at Commercial Bank, said: “We are proud to open our doors to the future leaders of our nation, immersing them in an environment that nurtures curiosity, learning, and inspiration. We believe that strong family ties are the foundation of our community, and this initiative strengthens this bond by connecting parents and children through shared experiences and values. Investing in future generations is a promise we continue to uphold as part of our enduring commitment to Qatar’s future.”

Eiman Al-Naemi, EGM and Chief Marketing Officer at Commercial Bank, added: “Our participation in the Little Employee initiative reflects the Bank’s culture: putting people first. By opening our doors to employees’ children, we give them the chance to see their parents’ contribution to one of Qatar’s leading financial institutions. We at Commercial Bank acknowledge that progress begins with people, with purpose, and with the values we share as a community.”
