DOHA: All health centres in Doha will be open during Eid Al Adha holidays, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) said yesterday.
But in areas outside Doha, the health centres in Umm Salal, A Daayen, Al Thumama, Leghweriya, Al Karaana, Al Gharafa, al Karana, Al Ghuwairya and Abu Nakhla will remain closed during the holidays.
The health centres in Doha (Al Rayyan, Madinat Khalifa, Rawdat Al Khail, Umm Ghuwailina, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Omar Bin Khatab, Airport, West Bay, Leabaib and Mesaimeer) will work from 7am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10pm. However, Leabaiab and Mesaimeer health centres, will not work in the morning on Fridays.
Dental services at these centres will be available during these hours, except for the first day of Eid Al Adha and Friday morning. Dental services will be closed during the whole period at Mesaimeer health centre.
The health centre in Al Wakra will be open daily between 7am and 11pm during Eid holidays. Health centres of Al Shamal, and Al Khor will be open from 7am to 2pm. Among these health centres Al Shahaniya and Al Shamal wile be closed on the first day of Eid, Friday and Saturday and the in Khor will be closed only on Friday. Al Sheehaniya health centre will be open between 7am and 9pm daily.
The health centres in Al Jumailia, Alkabaan and Um Bab will be operating according to the on call system around the clock.
Ophthalmology clinics will operate daily at Rawdat Al Khail Helath Centre and Madinat Khalifa in the mornings from September 11 to 15.
Also the ENT clinics at the Rawdat Al khail health centre will be open from September 11 to 15 in the mornings. All premarital examination clinics will be closed , except for the one at the Al Rayan health centre which will operate on September 13 and 15 from 7am to 1pm.
