Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent a congratulatory cable to the president.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable to the president.
