Doha Institute, Elite Paper sign deal on environmental sustainability

Doha, Qatar: The Doha Institute (DI) for Graduate Studies signed a partnership agreement with the Elite Paper Recycling recently to reinforce awareness of environmental sustainability as a main value for building a sustainable community and to secure a better future for the coming generations.

The agreement was signed by Eman Al Sulaiti, Executive Director of the Administrative and Financial Division at the DI, and Abdulla Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Elite manufacturing company.

The pact paves the way for cooperation from both sides through their programmes and activities in the fields of recycling through different means like public outreach within the country, increasing media and awareness campaigns, educational programmes and entertainment projects in the short as well as the long run.

As per the agreement, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies will continue recycling waste papers regularly with the support of Elite Recycling Paper.

Eman Al Sulaiti expressed her gratitude for signing this agreement as it will promote sustainable development models in Qatar and will widespread education on the activities of corporate social responsibility about the importance of recycling.

Abdulla Al Suwaidi said, “We are very happy with this great partnership in the field of environment and recycling, and we are eager for this partnership to complement our corporate responsibility in Qatar, in line with Qatar Vision 2030. Through this partnership with the Doha Institute, we will join forces and exchange expertise, particularly in green initiatives on different levels.”
