Youth and Girls Centres announce summer activities

A group of youth centres and girls centres under the Ministry of Sports and Youth announced the launch of its summer activities for the 2022 season, which will last until the end of August.
Director of Al Jumeliyah Youth Center Khalifa Al Shahwani said the summer activities at the centre start during June and will continue until August 12. The summer activities include various activities for the associates, including Padel, organised by the centre in coordination with the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF), in addition to horse riding and boxing.
The centre will also offer self-development programs in collaboration with youth entrepreneurs, as well as scientific programs in cooperation with Qatar Scientific Club, he added.
On the other hand, Director of Simaisma and Al Daayen Youth Centre Nawaf Al Mudahka told QNA that the centre has prepared a range of events and activities to compensate young people for stopping during the COVID-19 crisis, where many different events will be carried out on Friday and will carry out until August.
For her part, Director of Al Dana Girls Centre Walaa Ahmed Yusuf said that the centre this year will witness different activities, most notably, the celebration of the Gulf Youth Day.
She said that as part of the Creative and Artistic Touch programme, the centre presents the Finger Puppets workshop, which aims to unlock artistic abilities and support of their talents, entrepreneurship workshops between technology and application, and other workshops on raising awareness of the importance of sports activities, and many workshops and events that contribute to the development of talent among female affiliates.
