DIYARBAKIR, Turkey: Three people were killed and 23 wounded when a bomb-laden car detonated near a police vehicle in the strife-hit city of Diyarbkakir in Turkey's mainly Kurdish southeast on Tuesday, security sources said.

Sources initially said 13 people, including five civilians, were hurt when the blast occurred in central Diyarbakir.
