DIYARBAKIR, Turkey: A bomb-laden vehicle has struck a Turkish police shuttle vehicle in a central district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Tuesday.
At least 12 people, including police officers and civilians, were injured in the attack in the district of Baglar, said the police sources who were not named due to restrictions to speaking to the media.
PKK - listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July.
Since then, more than 430 security personnel have been martyred and over 3,800 PKK terrorists killed.
