Police kill three ‘robbers’ in Karachi shootout

KARACHI: Police on Sunday claimed to have killed three robbers in a shootout in Shah Faisal Colony area of the city. 

According to the police, a car was signaled to stop during snap- checking in Shahfaisal Colony-2 area, but instead of pulling up the car riders opened fire on officers. 

The three men, whom police accused of involvement in an attack on a Malir Court judge Sikandar Amir, were killed on the spot in retaliatory fire.  

The police claimed that firearms and hand grenade were also recovered from the suspects. The bodies have been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
