Heavy rain observed across most parts of Qatar

Doha, Qatar: Continuous rain was witnessed in various parts of the country, including Doha, as forecasted by the Qatar Meteorology Department. 

It added that there was a marine warning of strong wind and high seas with the wave heights between 3 and7ft, rising to 9 feet during thunderstorms and rain.

Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 8 to 18 knots, gusting to 26 knots with thundery rain.

Offshore, it will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 10 to 22 knots gusting to 26 knots with thundery rain.
