Deputy Emir chairs second meeting of QU Board of Trustees

Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University (QU), presided over the second meeting of the Board of Trustees for the academic year 2016/2017, which was held at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.

The meeting discussed topics on the agenda, including a report on the projects and decisions implemented by the QU since the first meeting.

The Board agreed on appointing Dr Hassan Eissa Al Fadalah, as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, in addition the board agreed on the suggestion of amending the policies and procedures of the university admissions.

Following the appointment of Dr Hassan Al Fadalah (pictured) as Vice-President for Academic Affairs, the President of Qatar University Dr Hassan Rashid Al Derham tweeted: "I welcome return of Dr Hassan Al  Fadalah to QU and I wish him success."
