Doha, Qatar: As part of the ongoing joint cooperation between Qatar and the United Nations, represented by the United Nations Development Programme, and to enhance bilateral cooperation between them through the United Nations Development Programme office in Doha.
On the sidelines of the proceedings of the twenty-second edition of the Doha Forum, a consultation session took place between Director of the International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikha Hanouf bint Abdulrahman Al Thani, and the Technical Representative and Head of the United Nations Development Programme office in Doha, Biplove Choudhary.
During this session, updates on projects and activities between the two parties were reviewed, and it was decided to sign an agreement between the Government of Qatar and the United Nations, represented by the United Nations Development Programme office. This agreement comes as part of Qatar’s support for the work of the United Nations Development Programme office in Doha and its efforts to support the mandate of the office.
