DOHA: Doha Municipality’s Health Control Section carried out an extensive inspection and awareness campaign targeting more than 167 food manufacturing and distribution companies at Industrial Area, spanning 15 days.
The campaign aimed to ensure compliance with health regulations in the production, manufacturing, packaging, transportation, storing, and trading of food products, with a focus on inspecting warehouses of all types (dry, refrigerated, and frozen), in addition to examining transportation methods to ensure safe and proper food handling during transit. The Head of the Health Control Section together with more than 30 food inspectors and veterinarians participated in the campaign, which targeted 1,636 food manufacturing and distribution company managers and employees.
