Occupied Jerusalem: Israeli occupation authorities issued administrative detention orders against 31 Palestinian detainees, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said on Sunday.
PPS lawyer told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that detention orders, without charge or trial, were issued against 31 detainees, including against member of the Palestinian legislative council, Mohammed al-Natsheh.
The period of the detention varied between three to six months. Administrative detention is the imprisonment of Palestinians without charge or trial and on the basis of secret evidence for up to six month periods, indefinitely renewable by Israeli military courts. (QNA)
