Manchester: Wayne Rooney continued his quest for fitness by training with the Manchester United reserves yesterday.
But while some may assume that to be evidence of a worsening relationship between the England striker and his club, apparently it was at the 27-year-old’s own request.
The England international striker -- who has been the subject of two bids from London club Chelsea, both rejected by United -- is on the comeback trail after a shoulder injury in pre-season. AFP
