Mango lovers in town can head to Souq Waqif to get their hands on Pakistan's most celebrated mango varieties.
Visitors can look forward to renowned varieties such as Sindhri, Chaunsa, White Chaunsa, Azeem Chaunsa (Rati Wala), Black Chaunsa (Kala Chaunsa), Anwar Ratol, Dussehri, Fajri, Ratol No. 12, and Lal Badshah – all widely recognized for their exceptional quality, distinctive flavours, and strong international reputation.
In addition to mangoes, the exhibition will feature a selection of Pakistan's seasonal fruits, including apricots, peaches, jamun, and chikoo, which together represent approximately 20% of the total products on display.
Workshop: Ruq’ah Calligraphy

Education Centre in Museum for Islamic Arts
Join calligraphy expert Hussein Ammar Ahmad for a workshop on ruq'ah, the final script style developed by the Ottoman Empire.
Rising to prominence in the 19th century, ruq'ah was celebrated for its legibility and straightforward elegance.
It remains widely recognized today, having been used in the titles of books, newspapers, and various publications.

MIA Family Day: Explore Wood Artistry

This edition focuses on the use of wood in Islamic art, drawing inspiration from objects in the MIA collection.
Participants will explore intricate craftsmanship, decorative motifs, and the diverse historical applications of wood, all through family-friendly activities designed to inspire curiosity and creativity.
