Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), in its weekend weather forecast, warned of strong winds and high seas, with temperatures ranging between 34°C and 44°C until Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The department said that days will continue to be hot, with blowing dust due to the Northwesterly winds.
On Friday, July 10, the wind will be Northwesterly at 10–20 KT, gusting to 28 KT during daytime. Meanwhile, the sea height will range between 3 and 5 feet, rising to 7 ft at times.
On Saturday, high seas are expected by afternoon in the North offshore area.
The wind will be Westerly-Northwesterly 8-18 KT, gusting to 28 KT daytime, while the sea height will range between 3 and 6 ft, rising to 7 ft at times.
In a previous alert, the department said that Northwesterly winds would continue to blow, causing dust and reduced horizontal visibility at times.
