Kuwait City: Kuwait's armed forces successfully intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and 10 hostile drones that entered the country's airspace early Thursday, the Defense Ministry said.

Col. Staff Saud Al Atwan, the ministry's official spokesperson, said the interceptions resulted in material damage after debris fell at several locations across the country. One person was injured and is receiving medical treatment in stable condition, he added.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team of the Land Forces Engineering Corps also responded to multiple reports involving debris left from the interception operations.

The Kuwaiti armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to carrying out their duties with readiness and professionalism, emphasizing their continued state of preparedness to safeguard the country's security and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
