Doha, Qatar: The representative of the Private Engineering Office,  Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Naama, inaugurated the 3rd Hamba Pakistani Mango Exhibition and Its Products on Thursday evening at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif.

The exhibition is organized by the Celebrations Committee at the Private Engineering Office, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar, in the presence of H.E. Muhammad Aamir, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar, along with a number of ambassadors, members of the diplomatic corps, and media representatives.

The exhibition will continue until 18 July 2026, welcoming visitors daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM in a fully air-conditioned tent. It offers an integrated experience that combines shopping, tasting, and discovering some of the most famous Pakistani mango varieties and related products.

The opening ceremony included a tour of the exhibition pavilions, where guests explored prominent Pakistani mango varieties, mango-based food products, and seasonal fruits from Pakistan. This year’s edition marks the largest participation since the exhibition’s launch, with more than 30 Pakistani and local companies, in addition to over 30 restaurants and food exhibitors offering a wide range of desserts, pickles, juices, ice cream, and Pakistani cuisine.

The exhibition also gives visitors the opportunity to discover more than ten of Pakistan’s most famous mango varieties, including Sindhri, Chaunsa, White Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, Dusehri, and others. It also features seasonal Pakistani fruits such as apricots, peaches, jamun, and chikoo, alongside innovative mango-based dishes and products presented by specialized chefs and participating restaurants.

Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, General Supervisor of the 3rd Hamba Pakistani Mango Exhibition and Its Products, said that the exhibition continues to grow year after year in terms of the number of participants, product diversity, and public turnout, noting that this year’s edition features the largest participation since the exhibition began.

He added that cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Qatar has contributed to selecting a premium range of Pakistan’s most famous and finest mango varieties, giving visitors a unique opportunity to discover some of the best products Pakistan is known for, while enjoying a comprehensive experience that includes food products, cuisine, and innovative mango-based creations.

Al Suwaidi noted that Pakistan is the world’s fifth-largest mango producer, with annual production exceeding 1.8 million tonnes, reflecting the global significance of this fruit in Pakistan’s agricultural sector. He emphasized that the exhibition is not limited to selling mangoes, but offers a cultural and culinary experience that introduces visitors to the history, varieties, and diverse uses of Pakistani mangoes.

He added that the success achieved by the previous two editions, along with the recent success of the 3rd Hamba Indian Mango Exhibition, strengthens expectations that the current edition will set new records in visitor numbers and sales. He invited the public to visit the exhibition, enjoy the distinctive heritage atmosphere of Souq Waqif, and discover the finest Pakistani mango varieties and related products.
