DOHA: Strong dust winds the country has been experiencing over the past three days are expected to subside today but would hit again tomorrow, according to the Meteorology Department.
Northwesterly to northeasterly winds would blow at moderate speed and the weather would be relatively humid in eastern parts. The country could experience strong northwesterly winds again tomorrow and on Saturday with speeds ranging from 10-20 to 25 knots at places and can cause low visibility in some areas. From Sunday to Tuesday, wind speed would drop. Easterly winds would cause an increase in relative humidity. “The weather during this period will be hot during the day and relatively humid by night with haze to misty at places,” said a report issued by the department yesterday.
