Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia following the death of Prince Ahmed bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent a cable of condolences to King Salman.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable of condolences to King Salman.

Strasbourg: Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah yesterday held separate meetings with European Parliament members, including European Conservatives and Reformists Group Chairman Syed Kamall, Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists President Jan Zahradil and New Direction Group President Geoffrey Van Orden.
Talks dealt with cooperation between Qatar and the European Union and topics of mutual interest. Qatari ambassadors to the EU Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani and France Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani and Dr Al Attiyah’s delegation were present.
Dr Al Attiyah also held separate talks with British House of Lords Member Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, Turkish Minister of EU Affairs Volkan Bozkir and Qatar-European Friendship Society members. QNA
