New Delhi--An FIR was on Tuesday lodged against UP Minister Ram Murti Verma and five others in connection with killing of a journalist by setting him afire in Shahjahanpur last week.
In a shocking incident, journalist Jagendra Singh was burnt to death for a Facebook post against Ram Murti. According to reports, Singh’s family has claimed that a police officer allegedly set him on fire.
Singh had reportedly written about Ram Murti’s involvement in illegal mining and forced occupation of land etc.
