•    There was talk about the possible initiative by Primary Healthcare Corporation to apply electronic appointment system by 2017, as part of its efforts to improve the services and appointments system.
•    There was talk on social media about the Traffic Department’s decision to apply tougher punishments for violations, particularly for taking over from right and parking in spaces allocated for people with special needs.
•    Authorities were urged to take action against owners of shops and businesses putting signs and barriers in public parking spaces and claiming they are their private parking areas. It was pointed out that people believe the claim and spend time looking for spaces to park their cars.
•    There was talk about the reduction of local and international call fees by Ooredoo — to 20 dirhams for local and 45 dirhams for international ones.
•    Some people criticised the increasing prices of car shades and said traders were exploiting the increasing demand for shades during summer months.
•    People urged the Consumer Protection Department to intensify monitoring on commercial centres and shops and said many were hoarding commodities required for Ramadan to increase prices during the holy month.
•    To speed up the Qatarisation process, some people demanded that authorities rehabilitate and train holders of the secondary school certificate to join public and private sectors.
