Ashghal participated in the opening of the 14th edition of the International Exhibition for Building Materials, Equipment and Construction Technology “Project Qatar 2017”, which began in Doha on May 8 and lasts until May 11, under the patronage of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Interior Minister.
The Minister of Commerce and Economy H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani inaugurated the event in the presence of
H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry. From Ashghal, Eng Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Assistant President of the Public Works Authority, Ashghal, and Eng Mohammed Masoud Al Marri, Director of Infrastructure Affairs — Ashghal attended.
Ashghal’s participation in the Exhibition comes as one of the most important entities that contributes to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030 through the implementation of infrastructure projects that meet the needs of the remarkable urban boom taking place in the country, using the latest technologies and equipment.
The Public Works Authority’s booth in Project Qatar Exhibition showcases models of some of the largest projects in the field of highways, buildings and sewage projects, as well as models of the most important materials and equipment used in construction and the latest construction techniques adopted by Ashghal during the past years.
Project Qatar 2017 is a good opportunity to bring together hundreds of leading global construction firms and equipment and technology providers from about 35 countries, as it is the ideal platform to interact with various entities responsible for implementing construction and infrastructure projects, led by the Public Works Authority of Qatar.
In addition to highlighting the opportunities and potentials of the Qatari market, and encouraging market leaders and decision-makers from all over the world to exchange experiences and optimise the growth opportunities offered by the Qatari construction sector, and to build partnerships and establish new business relationships.
