Doha, Qatar: Tonight marks the first night of Saad Al Dabih star, the first of the Scorpio stars. It rise is projected to last for 13 days.

During this time, cold winds are expected to continue, with occasional rise in temperature that makes the weather marginally hot particularly when exposed to the sun rays (during the afternoon period).

The star was called Saad Al Dabih due to it being known in the past as a period during which the cold was so severe that it would cause the death of cattle.
