HEALTH Monitoring Section at Al Wakrah Municipality last year caught more than 1,100 violations during 3,080 inspection visits.
The total value of fines is QR1840800. The section also received 129 complaints and destroyed 10,770kg of food unfit for human consumption and sent 73 samples of food central laboratory for tests.
