Pastel shades, floral prints and nautical stripes are making a return with Splash Spring’ 15 collection. Some of the major trends that have been explored in the collection are:
Impulse- Nautical
A trend that never ceases to make an appearance every season, the nautical look will be a wardrobe staple. White, powder pinks, royal blue and sky blue are some of the hues you will see in the collection. Expect to see variations in stripes, a step ahead of the usual look with the incorporation of prints, vegetal foliage, pop-art, rippling rays to name a few in jacquard and spongy surfaces. Key shapes will include summer dress, pencil skirts, maxi dresses, light hoodies and peplum tops.
Memory
Think soft feminine silhouettes which never fail to impress with full skirt dresses, pencil skirts and the shirt dress imbibing the retro 50’s vibe.
Core- Monochromatic
You can never go wrong when you flaunt the much trusted monochromatic trend. It’s minimalistic and you can embrace this trend in classic and favored pieces like crop tops, shorts, straight leg pants, oversized dressesand high-waist skirts. Denim will also be an undeniable part of the range.
Pop Shake
Print stories are big with this trend for youth staples. Pop Shake trend promises to infuse bright hues with eye catching Badges and Appliques, Racing trends and Fast Food that will set the mood for the season. Make heads turn in pieces like novelty printed sweater; intarsia prints tracksuits and elongated tees in stylish fabrics like Nylon Mesh, Digital Printed Jerseys and Mélanges .
70’s Boulevard Prep
This trend is about making the formals and casuals come together offering a more easily accessible style option for the season. Blues and deep tones like crystal blue and marigold drive the spring palette alongside grey and warm neutrals in classic pieces like pique jackets, premium bombers with subtle florals prints and geo motifs.
