Rising humidity is expected to increase fog formation over the coming days, leading to zero visibility at times, according to the Meteorology Department.

Today, due to a shift in wind direction and rise in humidity, the temperature is expected to rise to 27°C during the day and go down to 16°C at night in Doha.
The weather will vary between hazy to mist or foggy conditions at places, with poor visibility, becoming mild by day and relatively cold by night. The southeasterly wind will blow at 3 to 15 knots, while the sea will be relatively calm.
Also, Abu Samra will witness a temperature variation of 21 degrees today, with a maximum of 27 and minimum of 6 degrees Celsius.
Yesterday, most of the places in the country recorded a temperature difference of above 15 degrees Celsius.
The numerical difference between day and night temperatures is technically called diurnal temperature variation. Abu Samra recorded the highest difference of 19 degrees yesterday with a maximum temperature of 26 degree Celsius and a minimum of 7 degree Celsius, until 5.30pm last evening. At Al Karanah, the maximum recorded was 26 degrees Celsius and minimum 8 degrees, while at Al Thurayna the temperature ranged between 26 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Diurnal temperature variation of 16 degrees Celsius was recorded in Al Ghuwayriyah, Al Jumayliyah and Al Khor and 15 degree Celsius difference was witnessed in Al Shahaniyah and Dukhan yesterday.
Today, in Messaieed and Al Wakrah the temperature will range between 23 degree Celsius and 12 degree Celsius. Dukhan will experience a maximum temperature of 25 degree Celsius and minimum of 10 degree Celsius.
