Doha, Qatar: Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani met today with the President of World Economic Forum HE Borge Brende, on the sidelines of the Doha Forum 2024.
Also present at the meeting was Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, HE Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed.
The meeting discussed avenues for enhancing cooperation and partnership between the State of Qatar and the World Economic Forum, in addition to sharing perspectives on topics on the forum's agenda.
HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry affirmed his aspirations to reinforce cooperation frameworks with the World Economic Forum in the areas of trade, industry and investment, in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and its development goals, highlighting the State of Qatar's successful economic policies to support the private sector.
