The Bhavan’s Public School conducted its Annual Athletic Meet for the students of KG and Std I & II at Matar Qadeem campus and for the students of Std III to X at Al Arabi Stadium, recently. A P Manikantan, Vice President, BHPS, was the Chief Guest on the first and Sayed Salem, former captain of Qatar Volley Ball team was the Chief Guest on the second. Head Boy Dominic Roy administered the oath. The torch was lit by the last year’s champions. The Principal V L Balasubramanian welcomed the gathering and the chief Guest declared the meet open. Sprint events of 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 metres and relays were held. The Topaz house won the championship for the second time.
