Doha: Vodafone Qatar was the official sponsor of H H the Amir’s Shooting and Archery Cup which took place last month as part of the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA).
Players from the Qatari national team as well as, Kuwait, Lebanon, and the UAE participated in the tournament.
The championships hosted various events, including, shotgun, pistol, rifle and bow and arrow competitions, all aiming to further develop the sport within the field.
Total prizes for winners of the various competitions were over half a million Qatari riyals, with the event witnessing more spectators than all its previous editions.
