QIIB launches Samsung Wallet to advance convenient and secure payment solutions for its customers

Doha: QIIB announced the launch of Samsung Wallet App to support digital payments using various QIIB debit and credit cards, while acting as a trusted source for customers to store their key documents and information into a single, secure and convenient wallet.

QIIB Cardholders can safely use this new service through Samsung Wallet and complete their payments by simply hovering their smartphone over any POS device. 

Samsung Wallet is packed with features complementing QIIB cards accepted both locally and internationally as a contactless payment solution. 

To download the service, customers can directly click on the Samsung Wallet icon and register or visit Galaxy Store before installing. 

QIIB Cards can be added to the Samsung Wallet  service in a few simple steps: (i) open the Samsung Wallet Application, (ii) Register, (iii) select your preferred verification method (fingerprint, iris scan, or PIN), (iv) add the Card by scanning it or tap your Mobile, (v) input the Card details, (vi) enter the security code, (vii) specify your preferred way to verify the information, (viii) enter the verification code, and (ix) checkout. Upon the completion of these procedures, you will be able to use the Samsung Wallet Application. 

Upon completing the registration process and adding the customer’s QIIB Card, the payments are made simply by unlocking the smartphone, allowing the payment through the chosen method by the Customer (fingerprint, iris, or PIN), according to the Customer’s Samsung device and finally presenting the Mobile to the POS device. 

Security, privacy, and speed are the most important features of Samsung Wallet. When customers use their QIIB debit or credit cards, all the requirements for secure electronic payments are met and comply with international best practices in the field of Electronic and Contactless Payments.
