DOHA: The General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al Sulaiti and Angel Roman, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay in Doha, discussed possible joint cultural opportunities between the two countries here yesterday.
“In Katara, we are always keen to embrace various cultural activities from different countries of the world, in an aim to establish a bridge of communication between nations,” said the General Manager.
According to Dr Al Sulaiti, the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara welcomes the inauguration of events that suit the needs of different nationalities and age groups to shed light on various aspects of arts and innovation, that will in turn enrich the national Qatari culture; pointing that Katara will soon host a musical ceremony celebrating the world-famous Paraguayan guitarist Agustín Barrios Mangoré, in addition to other sideline events.
Roman expressed his gratitude with the proposed means of mutual cultural cooperation between the two countries, highlighting its importance in the promotion of cultural exchange.
