Doha, Qatar: Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber, received at his office at the Chamber’s headquarters yesterday, in three separate meetings, H E Tigran Gevorkian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the State of Qatar; H E Odette Marie Yidi David, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to the State of Qatar; and H E Sandra Sophia Escobar Lanza, Chargé d’Affaires and Head of Mission at the Embassy of Honduras in the State of Qatar.
The meetings were attended by Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairman of the Food Security Committee and the Environment, Technology and Innovation Committee.
During the three meetings, the participants discussed trade and economic relations between the State of Qatar and Armenia, Colombia and Honduras, as well as ways to further strengthen them.
They also reviewed the investment climate in these countries, the key opportunities available for cooperation between the Qatari private sector and its counterparts, and potential areas of collaboration between companies across various economic sectors, contributing to increased trade between Qatar and the three countries.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani praised the strong relations between the State of Qatar and Armenia, Colombia and Honduras, particularly in the trade and economic fields.
He noted that the Qatari private sector is interested in learning more about the investment climate and opportunities available in these countries and is open to establishing alliances and partnerships with its counterparts there.
