Doha: Four Asians were arrested by police from North Security Department for producing and selling homemade liquor.
During a routine patrolling, Al Najda Police (Al Fazaa) spotted a man driving his car in a suspicious manner in an area under the jurisdiction of North Security.
After getting his permission, police inspected his vehicle and found 120 plastic bottles filled with liquor.
During interrogation, he confessed that he sells liquor in northern areas after buying them from a house in Messaimer.
After legal procedures in coordination with Al Fazaa and Messaimer Police, officers raided a house, arrested three other Asians and seized drums filled with liquor and equipment and substances used for making it.
The accused were referred to public prosecution.
