Doha, Qatar: Alaraby 2 channel’s TikTok account has surpassed the one million follower mark, achieving a significant leap with an increase of over half a million followers since the beginning of the current year 2023.
The account publishes diverse clips from various programmes broadcasted by the channel, which are categorised into playlists to help followers watch videos that align with their interests, ensuring a rich browsing experience.
Elias Khoury, the CEO of Alaraby 2, believes that investing in creating and managing a professional account on the TikTok platform is a decision that falls within a general policy of bringing the channel’s programmes closer to the audience. “TikTok has experienced tremendous success in recent years with a significant increase in the number of active users, and we are pleased that the Alaraby 2 account is gaining a decent presence, especially as the platform is successful in attracting a young audience.”
Regarding the possibility of providing exclusive content for the platform, Khoury added: “We are keen on sharing content on social networks that aligns with the audience of each platform, but this does not prevent us from seriously considering offering exclusive content for social networks. The Alaraby TV network is rich in exceptional talents in various fields, and they can contribute a lot in the field of content creation for social networks.”
It is worth mentioning that the Alaraby News account on Instagram recently surpassed the three million followers mark, which is a record number for the channel that was launched less than a year ago, coinciding with the relocation of the Arab Television Network headquarters to Lusail City in Qatar in September 2022.
