Doha: Qatar Museums (QM) invites youth to attend the Qatar Creates – Teen Council Expo at Khalifa International Stadium on Friday.
During an official address at the Expo, H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, QM Chairperson, will provide details on the Qatar Creates—Teen Council, a platform empowering teenagers and young adults across the country, elevating their voices and giving them opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, and grow as individuals. Information booths throughout the Expo will also give youth the chance to learn about the various volunteering opportunities available at QM during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and beyond.
Speaking ahead of the Expo, H E Sheikha Al Mayassa said: “Young people are our future, which is why we are delighted to be holding the Qatar Creates – Teen Council Expo. Our new initiative, Qatar Creates–Teen Council, will bring together young people who want to take part in Qatar’s cultural life by engaging in Qatar Museums’ future endeavours, and create a place for youth to gather, collaborate, and plan events for teenagers from all over the country. We are excited to hear from you to create and bring your ideas to life. We look forward to welcoming you, so I encourage you to sign up.”
The Qatar Creates - Teen Council Expo will be held from 5pm to 10pm at Khalifa International Stadium.
