Cairo: The 38th session of the Arab Human Rights Permanent Committee opened yesterday at Arab League Headquarters under Omani National Rights Human Rights Committee member Dr Mohamed bin Suleiman Al Rashidi.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Youssuf bin Jabor Al Thani, Assistant Director, Human Rights Department, Foreign Ministry, is representing Qatar at the meeting, also attended by representatives of Arab human rights committees. The five-day meeting will discuss Arab League General-Secretariat’s report on measures taken to implement recommendations of the panel and Arab human rights strategy, among others. QNA
