Ministry unveils ‘Stay Tuned Service’ for administration staff

DOHA: The Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has launched ‘Stay Tuned Service’ to provide administration services to staff in workplaces without the need to report to the HR Department. 
Jabor Abdullah Al Attiya (pictured), Director, Human Resources Department, said a specialised work team has been formed and trained to provide services to ministry staff in various sectors. The team will visit municipalities, departments and centres to follow up on staff requirements answer queries without the need to go to the Human Resources Department or follow up their applications.
Al Attiya stressed that all electronic services provided by the Human Resources Department are in fulfilment of a ministry strategy  within the context of the digital government of Qatar. 
However, given the large number of departments and municipalities of the ministry, this service has been launched to provide comfort for and assure staff that their transactions and applications are followed up by a team with rapid communication as a further link between them and the department. 
The service follows ‘Enquire Service’ launched recently, and Electronic Pay Certificate to further advance the department’s services. 
He said Stay Tuned is a complementary service and all staff services are electronic and accessible through the ministry’s website and applications of smartphones, available through the e-Employee files.
These include pay certificate, vacation application, return from vacation and resumption of duty, enquiry about salary, exit visa, request for leaving work place during working hours, review of performance  and receiving reports, list of materials in employees’ custody, advance money, loans and enquiries and other applicable e-Services.
