Doha: H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani conveyed condolences of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the death of HRH Princess Jawaher bint Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.
Condolences were conveyed as HRH Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met Sheikh Joaan in Riyadh yesterday. Sheikh Joaan also offered his condolences to the prince.
Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Al Boraq Automobiles — Porsche Centre Doha, distributor of Porsche cars, has announced the recall of 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder due to a malfunction in the back electrical cooling fan.
The ministry said the recall is part of its ongoing coordination and follow-up to ascertain the extent of car dealerships’ commitment to follow up vehicles’ defects and repair them to protect consumers’ rights. It urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities to the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which receives complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
Doha: The GCC Ministerial Committee for Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology will hold its 24th meeting at St. Regis Hotel, Doha, tomorrow.
It will discuss development of the post, telecom and information technology sectors and means of boosting cooperation. QNA
