FC Porto crowned the Portuguese Football League title with a precious 1-0 victory over its host Benfica on Saturday, in the thirty-third stage of the competition, which also witnessed today, Astoril Praia, a 1-0 victory over Moreirense.

FC Porto won his third title in the championship in the last five seasons, which is his 30th title in the history of the championship, reducing the difference with Benfica, the record holder in the number of times to win the title (37 titles).

FC Porto raised his score to 88 points in the lead, nine points ahead of Sporting Lisbon, who will not be able to catch up with Portos score even if they win the remaining two matches in the tournament. Benficas balance with 71 points is in third place.
