DOHA: A high-end hotel in Al Sadd and a prestigious club near the West Bay Lagoon have been partially closed by Doha Municipality for serving expired food. While the club has been partially closed for 10 days for violating civic health and safety rules, the hotel in Al Sadd has been shut down partly for 15 days.
The above two closures take the number of violating outlets punished so far this month to four. Last month, a total of six outlets were closed while in March the number was eight.
In February nine outlets, among them eateries, were closed while in January the total was 12. The website of the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has cited the names, causes and duration of the closure of all the outlets.
