Qatar condemns vehicle crash attack in Sweden

Doha: The State of Qatar strongly condemned Friday the truck-crash attack which took place in Swedish capital Stockholm, killing and injuring a number of people. 

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement today emphasizing Qatar's position against all forms of violence and terrorism regardless of its motives. The statement also stressed Qatar's denouncement of all criminal attacks that terrorize the innocent, saying such attacks contradict with humanitarian principles. 

The statement also expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government of Sweden, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
