Three papers presented at Kahramaa Engineer’s Day

Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation, Kahramaa, has celebrated 'Engineer’s Day' on Monday, under the patronage and presence of Eng. Essa bin Hillal Al Kuwari, Kahramaa President, and Eng. Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Subaie, Manager Director of Qatar Railways Company (Rail), Eng. Ahmad Jassim Jolo; Chairman of the Qatar Society of Engineers, Dr Khalifa bin Nasser Al Khalifa, Dean of Engineering College at Qatar University, and a number of public characters and Managers of Corporation’s departments and affairs.
The event included presenting three working papers, the first one titled “Planning and Developing Electricity Networks/Tasks and Challenges”, presented by Maghdeem Ahmed Al Nama; while the second paper titled “Successful Applications Implemented in Water Maintenance Section” presented by Alyasser Abdulla Mashhadi; and the last paper’s title “Qatari Engineer, Achievements and Challenges” performed by Mohammed Yousuf Al Kubaisi and Abdulla Hamad Al Qahtani.
The event comes within Corporation’s efforts to attain its objective represented in attracting and developing qualified employees as well as supporting Qatarisation policy; where this event aims at highlighting the engineer’s role and contributing in achieving Corporation’s objectives.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a short movie about the Corporation was presented and then a paragraph of “Successful March” presented by Kahramaa President and the Director of Qatar Railways Company (Rail).
It’s worth mentioning that “Engineer’s Day” aims at promoting engineers’ role and their belonging to the Corporation as well as creating challenging awareness and best practices in this field.
This day considers as an opportunity to discover youth’s abilities and appears their creativity in addition to promoting communication and exchanging experiences among engineers.
By the end of ceremony, Essa Hilal Al Kuwari has honoured Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Subaie and performers of working papers.
