Tainan: An eight-year-old girl was pulled alive from the rubble of an apartment complex in Taiwan Monday, more than 60 hours after it was felled by a powerful earthquake.

Rescuers freed two other survivors earlier in the day as they raced against time to find more than 100 residents buried deep in the ruins.
