BUDAPEST: A passenger jet headed from Berlin to Hurghada in Egypt landed in Budapest on Monday due to a bomb threat, police said.
Police spokeswoman Viktoria Csiszer-Kovacs told Reuters the threat had been aimed at the airline operator but declined to name the company. She said police were searching passengers and luggage on the jet.
