Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 100.620 points, or 0.82 percent, to close trading at 12,406.69 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 104,128,679 from 119,100,689 on Thursday and the value of shares decreased to QR360,032,700 from QR408,656,747 on Thursday.
The indices of seven sectors ended in the green zone today. QSE Total Return Index gained 0.82 percent to 25,412.92, QSE Al Rayan Islamic index added 0.69 percent to 5,193.87 points and QSE All Share Index increased 1.69 percent to 3,961.26 points.
