Qatar Basketball Federation will begin their Mini and microbasket festival season from today by hosting the first festival of the series at Al Gharafa Stadium.
Ten teams are taking part in the festival which include Al Sadd, Qatar SC, Al Arabi, Tarbiya, Al Gharafa, Al Ahli, Al Wakra, Al Shamal, Al Rayyan and Al Khor. The festival aims to increase the passion of the young players in the game through exercises under the supervision of coaches from clubs and from the QBF. During the season, 5 festivals are held. The second festival is set for November 4, followed by two other events on December 16 and February 24, 2018, while the final festival will take place on March 10 of the same year.
