Doha, Qatar: The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) has announced the opening of registration for its 2026 Training Programme on International Commercial Courts, scheduled to take place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at QICDRC.
The three-day, in-person programme is designed for qualified lawyers and practising legal professionals seeking to strengthen their knowledge of international commercial court proceedings and the procedures involved in conducting litigation before the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre.
Delivered in English through a combination of lectures and seminars, the programme will provide participants with a detailed understanding of the legal frameworks, regulations and procedural rules governing cases and appeals before the Qatar International Court
and the QFC Regulatory Tribunal.
The programme will address key stages of the litigation process, including urgent applications and the commencement of proceedings, defences and counterclaims, jurisdictional disputes, disclosure and case preparation, hearings and evidence, judgments and damages, costs and enforcement, appeals, and proceedings before the Regulatory Tribunal.
The programme will be delivered by judges from QICDRC, legal professionals from the Qatar Financial Centre, legal academics from the College of Law at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and members of the QICDRC Registry, providing participants with the opportunity to benefit from specialists with extensive knowledge and experience in international commercial dispute resolution.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a QICDRC Litigation Accreditation Certificate signed by the President of the Qatar International Court and the Chief Executive Officer of QICDRC, together with a digital badge that may be displayed on their professional online profiles.
QICDRC noted that places are limited to a maximum of 16 participants to support an interactive and engaging learning environment, and qualified lawyers and practising professionals with relevant legal industry experience are invited to register through their official website.
