Doha, Qatar: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB), in collaboration with the Drima Orphan Care Center, recently hosted a group of children at the Hamama Nursery Services Center as part of the ‘Pioneers of the Nation’ educational programme.

The three-day initiative was designed to introduce young participants to the vital role government service centers play in supporting the community and to equip them with practical knowledge on how to access essential public services.

During the programme, the children took part in a guided tour of the Hamama facility, where they explored the functions of various participating government entities and observed firsthand the step-by-step journey of a client completing official transactions.

The interactive experience combined real-world exposure with a series of tailored educational and hands-on activities to help demystify public administration processes for the youth.

The event concluded with a formal ceremony where certificates of completion were distributed to all participants.

Organisers highlighted that the initiative successfully enhanced the children’s civic understanding, providing them with a clearer appreciation of civic infrastructure and the importance of government services in fostering a well-connected and supportive society.
