Doha, Qatar: Social Development Center (NAMA), an affiliate of Ministry of Social Development and Family, will launch a programme to develop food projects, in cooperation with Cooking Academy.
The programme is part of NAMA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of home projects and new startups and entrepreneurship.
The month-long programme includes field and craft training as part of field visits to food factories, many workshops in marketing, packaging, food preservation, and manufacturing methods and specialized workshops on chocolate making.
NAMA’s Entrepreneurship Manager Mohammed Al Abdulghani said the integrated development programme for productive micro-enterprises, whether home-based or new existing companies, seeks to develop all productive sectors that would contribute to economic diversification and self-sufficiency in the State of Qatar.
